Generating power from moving water is not a new concept. The Romans were using the water wheel more than 2,000 years ago, Archimedes invented the Archimedes Screw in the 3rd Century BC. Hydro power was developed in the early 1900’s. Now there are more than 11,000 large hydro power stations accounting for 936 GW of installed capacity.
The technology is a  floating semi submerged vessel which utilises revolutionary turbine technology to harness the energy from free flowing river and ocean currents, and convert that energy to electricity.
